HOW TO photograph kids
Got camera and kids?
Love capturing them but not always happy with the results?
Join our online Photo Bootcamp ALL ABOUT photographing children
Wednesday 19th Feb - Sunday 23rd Feb
Nothing passes as quickly and as categorically as childhood.
We take photos to take those precious moments and freeze them in time, to capture and bottle that magic and to preserve those 'blink-and-you-miss-it' unique events.
But often, the photos dont live up to the magic you see. And you may be forgiven for blaming ot on your camera or not having some natural born artistic talent, but the simple truth is:
Everyone can learn to take better photos. And we make it easy.
How to photograph children
online photo bootcamp
19 - 23 February 2020
5 days - 5 lessons - 5 challenges and opportunities to capture something magical.
Each day, we’ll be helping you get one step closer to capturing unforgettable images by sharing a bitesize daily lesson, each focused on a particular aspect of photographing children. We will be staying away from the boring techy jargon bits as much as humanely possible and focus on making a change to how you SEE, how you COMPOSE and how you approach your camera. But since we are promising you a BOOTCAMP, each will be coming with a challenge – something for you to do and capture every day.
It's about doing - not watching
In photography, there is no better way to learn than just DO. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or already ‘dabble’ in photography – what we want you to do is to get your camera out EVERY DAY out of those 5 days and capture something.
Photography novice? No trouble
This bootcamp is suitable for all - whatever your level or camera. It's about changing the way you see and tell stories with your camera, NOT about specific settings or techniques. We will show you that even if you never shot on anything other than auto, you can still make your images better!
But Free? Really? What's the catch
Yes. Really. And there is no catch. We make no secret that our bootcamps can serve as na bit of a taster for our full, paying courses, and we do hope that you like what you learn enough to consider those too, but crucially: our bootcamps stand on their own legs in that they still give you LOTS of instantly applicable skills, whether you leve it there or decide to move forward. We donlt ask for any upfront payments - just your email and name, and even with those - we give you a reminder at the end to unsubscribe if you don't want to hear from us beyond the bootcamp.
And there is an extra reason to shoot and post daily…
There is no substitute for ‘having a go’ in photography. No shortcut. You have to take a few thousands of terrible pictures before you start taking great ones consistently. Sorry for the bad news. The good news is – if you really have a go at this bootcamp and all the lessons we have for you here, and you post daily for each of the topics, you stand to win yourself a place on one of our online photo courses – your choice which! And then watch your photography really take off!
At the end of the course, we’ll draw a winner at random from among all the people who will have posted something for each of the 5 topics. So all that is standing between you and that chance are literally 5 photos.
And if you're worried about where yourdata goes - don't be - we don't spam and will even remind you at the end to unsubscribe if you no longer want to hear from us. No catch.
