Private classes

Our private sessions are perfect for busy couples or small groups of friends – especially if it’s impractical for you to get to our usual classes. Delivered in the privacy of your own home and limited to a maximum of 3 people, they are very hands on and guarantee very close personal attention to each of the participants.

Highly customisable, highly personal, very hands on – our private classes put you in the centre of the session. They can be delivered either as a version of our regular classes or a bespoke session tailored to your level and requirements. In the standard version, we set these up either as a one half-day session or two sessions of 2.5h plus online follow up with telephone/skype/email support as and when needed and including personal feedback on your photos.

Part 1: Camera know-how:

your camera navigation
understanding your camera focus and light metering
camera light-sensitivity – ISO
understanding your camera modes – focus on Aperture mode for portraits and Shutter speed more for capturing movement

Part 2: Light and composition

understanding how light influences your photos
using space in your photographs – rule of thirds
elements of composition – using your surroundings and architecture
using colour and texture
taking photos of pairs and groups of people

Private session cost:

Regular price : £269 for the first person and £130 for each additional one ( we recommend no more than 3 people in total). For locations requiring substantial travel, some additional travel expenses may apply so if you are based outside of the Greater London area, please enquire first.
